MSNTV 2 service IDs are identifiers for core service URLs the MSNTV 2 unit has to access. The IDs can be any string but most usually use the <code>group::service</code> format, usually if there is more than one service in a particular group of services.

To get the URL of a service, MSNTV 2's service pages call the JavaScript function <code>window.external.GetSafeServiceURL('SERVICE_ID')</code>.
