<p><b>New page</b></p><div>The WebTV/MSN TV network is what powers the WebTV/MSN TV devices and allows them to operate beyond being a simple piece of scrap metal and components connecting to nothing. The network initially was and up until its eventual discontinuation, still offered a dial-up service where the user would have their box dial an access number, and from there they would be authenticated onto the WebTV/MSN TV network through specialized servers. Broadband was also an option but this was only available on Rogers Interactive TV and the [[MSNTV 2]], and how the network operated differently compared to dial-up on either is, at the moment, unclear.
